From a terraced limestone vineyard in Bad Dürkheim, the 2019 Michelsberg Riesling GG is deep, ripe, rich and intense on the chalky-lemony nose. Full- bodied, intense and tight yet fresh and ne on the palate, this is a complex, expressively mineral and powerful Riesling with a very long, structured, salty and chalky nish. Very promising! Tasted as a sample that was going to be racked from the rst lees at the end of the month. Tasted in May 2020.
